Peace for all…

Shivering cold but his heart aflame,
He runs to the battlefield as if it was just a game.
Fires his guns with rage unbound,
The noise of his exults could be heard from miles around.
Ten he fell with his deadly attack,
But alas! He was surrounded, with no way to go back.

Canines of metal ripped open his body,
None could deny that he was hardy.
Out went that fatal letter to his lonely mother,
Her son was dead but who would bother?
She beat her head till it was sore,
She screamed and cried until she too … was no more.

Who knows what happened to the relatives of those he fell,
Whether they lived or died of grief, none could tell.

The dove never flies where they fight day and night,
To show to each other, their strength and might.
So let’s be benevolent and learn to forgive,
Please, Live and Let Live.
