Dance of death

Let me tell you a story to chill the bones
About a thing that I sawOne night wandering in the everglades
I'd one drink but no moreI was rambling, enjoying the bright moonlightGazing up at the stars
Not aware of a presence so near to me
Watching my every move
Feeling scared and I fell to my knees
As something rushed me from the trees
Took me to an unholy placeAnd that is where I fell from grace
Then they summoned me over to join in with them
To the dance of the dead
Into the circle of fire I followed them
Into the middle I was led
As if time had stopped still I was numb with fear
But still I wanted to go
And the blaze of the fire did no hurt upon me
As I walked onto the coals
And I felt I was in a trance
And my spirit was lifted from me
And if only someone had the chance
To witness what happened to me
And I danced and I pranced and I sang with them
All had death in their eyes
Lifeless figures they were undead all of them
They had ascended from hell
As I danced with the dead
My free spirit was laughing and howling down at me
Below my undead bodyJust danced the circle of dead
Until the time came to reunite us both
My spirit came back down to meI didn't know if I was alive or dead
As the others all joined in with me
By luck then a skirmish started
And took the attention away from me
When they took their gaze from me
Was the moment that I fled
I ran like hell faster than the wind
But behind I did not glance
One thing that I did not dare
Was to look just straight ahead
When you know that your time has come around
You know you'll be prepared for it
Say your last goodbyes to everyone
Drink and say a prayer for it

When you're lying in your sleep, when you're lying in your bed
And you wake from your dreams to go dancing with the dead
When you're lying in your sleep, when you're lying in your bed
And you wake from your dreams to go dancing with the dead

To this day I guess I'll never know
Just why they let me go
But I'll never go dancing no more'
Til I dance with the dead

Curse

I am hell's Hermes,
I am the soul of black,
I am whom you'll neither see nor feel,
Even though, your soul, i will hew and hack.

No king no queen, no god's sheen,
Can withhold the path i tread,
On castles tall and mountains massive,
and on mortals souls do i feed.

A year is all that i grant you,
Ere the apocalypse that shall swallow,
You and all those who falter the task,
then begone into my hollows.

Rivers of sweat, and pools of blood,
Your sinews and bones you shall grind,
To wade across the black ocean,
On it's shore lies peace of mind...

Millions with you shall embark,
but only a few shall thrive,
those who don't shall wilter,
Beneath the chariot that i drive...

Well this is an old one from my days in 9th class...well with a year of school life left and the craven path to be chosen after a year, i guess the poetry is apt in terms of context.

Happy reading!!!

Malignant

In this jungle of unearthly elements,
Where death of a child remains unknown to its mother,
where shadows are cannibalised by lights
and the beaker of trust has naught but urine...

A solitary being shuffles about,
Away from the light and their medusan stare,
Away from the lights and the epidemic they spread.
Man woman and child unborn,
Crave for a shaft of vision, for a shot of life,
for a high which shall be their low,
for a feeling of entirety, which shall be a void,
for this moment of of falsehood,
they may kiss the Satan's hand,
hack all their friends and families,
give birth to the scavengers of this land.

but he who walks alone, knows...
knows that the disease is malignant,
knows that ere long the black breath shall overwhelm his candle,
a wisp of smoke, a little voice is all that he will be survived by,
and the story of a pristine world shall remain untold...

Well, well, here is something highly rhetoric and symbolic, but it is my catharsis... can't explain now, short of time. Well unearthly elements are stainless magnesium steel alloys and all that doesn't occur naturally, which are used to build our homes and the world around us. Lights are the so called "stars" and celebrities (whom i consider totally worthless and certainly undeserved of the hype that they get, again it's just my point of view, so Marcus, please ...peace!!!) All the people out there crave for their "moment in the sun, their chance to be the "one", no matter what they have to sacrifice, friend, families a normal human life. And the rest i guess u can make out!!!Just that is the reason why i don't see many people valuing the finer aspects of life... that's sooo sad.
